The Mazda BT-50 is upon us after a lengthy presence of the current generation and has been teased by Mazda Australia. The Japanese automaker posted an instagram picture post with a caption “Global Reveal 17 June, 11am AEST”.
The went on to write “Something huge is coming. Tune in on 17 June, 11am AEST
for the global launch of a once in a generation Mazda. Set
your reminder now.”
This is indeed exciting news for Mazda and bakkie fans, considering the brand’s latest model designs and the silhouette hints at a more simplified ‘bakkie’ look, at-least one would hope. It is also worth mentioning that the newcomer will now be shared with the upcoming Isuzu D-Max, since Mazda and Ford ended their 4 decade relationship.
The current BT-50 has been on sale since 2011, having shared engines with the Ford Ranger.
17 June, It’s a date!
